The Nikola A. Grujicic Scholarship, offered by the Citizen Fire Academy Alumni Association (CFAAA), provides financial assistance for Newport News Fire Department employees, spouses or their college age children who are seeking funds for college or additional training. The CFAAA will be offering two $500.00 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants must submit all application materials by the deadline of May 01, 2025
Materials to include (do not re-use submissions from previous years):
- A completed application form.
- An essay prepared by the applicant in response to the prompts included in the application.
- Letter(s) of recommendation.

- Books used to achieve rank advancement (lieutenant, captain, etc.)
